Farm Facts

The Vacation Home is located in the farmhouse of a 95 acre farm which was acquired in December 2005. The house is over a century old and was recently renovated to restore the hardwood floors and remove old wallpaper and repaint the entire house.  The house can can be rented as half a house or, if you have a large group, the entire house can be rented for a period of time.

The farm is used to raise replacement heifers for a dairy farm.  The calves are brought to the farm after they are weaned at about 3 - 4 months of age and stay until they are about 2 years old.  They are returned to the dairy farm to calve and start their lives as a productive milk cow.

The farm is operated by Parke & Sheila Ranck and their 23 year old son Trevor.  Their other son Tyler is a Junior at Messiah College.  We would love to have you come visit.
